This is a guide for you to figure out which airlines will accept the ultimate carry-on, the Béis Carry-On Roller. This post will be continuously updated as she makes it (or doesn't) onto more flights.

Click on the airline to see their carry-on bag policy. If the Béis roller fits their carry-on allowance, the second column will say 'Yes'. We assume that if it does fit their regulations you should not have any problems. When the Béis roller does not fit the airline requirements, but does make it onto the flight, this does not mean it will always happen. Please always do your own due diligence, as airline rules & regulations can change at any time. My experience with an airline at one airport might not be the same as that airline at other airports.

Fits the airline requirements?

Airasia

They did not care at all about the size, I had no problems. Weight on the other hand, the roller carry-on was always weighed.

Lufthansa/Swiss

While I have successfully made it on the flight with my Béis roller, you still need to be careful. If I am flying with them short-haul (within Europe), I would not risk it. They are strict and often have people checking the carry-ons as you are boarding. Sometimes I fly with them as one of my legs on my way to/from the US and then it hasn't been much of a problem. If your flight is originating in Europe, be careful. If your first leg is Europe to USA, they don't seem as strict. But if it is from one European city to another, they are more strict.

Saudia

I flew with Saudia from Zürich to Bangkok roundtrip. I did not have any problems or questions regarding the size or weight of my carry-on.

Thai Airways

Like Thailand, this airline is very customer centric. I've never had a negative experience. Even when I wasn't flying Thai and interacted with their staff in the airport.

US-based Airlines (Yes*)

While the carry-on is technically bigger than their requirements, there's never been a problem. Large US (non-budget) airlines typically are not very strict.

If you use this link to shop at Béis, it will help me earn points to shop more (which I would appreciate). I am not paid by Béis, this is not an advertisement.
