Congrats LAKERS

Yepey The Lakers is now officially the "2009 NBA Champion." We are waiting for this game and we want it to be the last game. Happy that the Lakers won it.
Hmmm how much longer do we have to wait for the next basketball season? hahaha. Football season is around the corner and hoping that Giants will made it. Enjoy the weekend. Wishing everyone to have a fruitful week ahead.

Game today

Basketball is my favorite sport though I don't play the sport but I understand it fully and enjoy it so much. Well today is NBA finals game 5 between Lakers and Magic, I like Lakers because of their coach which is Phil Jackson and he is also the former coach of Bulls that's why I like bulls too. My husband though that I am going for Magic but I explained that I like Lakers because of the coach and I go where he go hahaha.
Anyway hope they win and finish the game today, Lakers is leading at 3-1, one more win for them.

Cooking Rice

Most of Asian's main staple is rice. Me and my husband are Asian and grew up eating rice as our main staple, we eat at least one meal a day with rice. In my years as a plain housewife, sometimes I cook too much rice for one meal especially on weekend. On weekend I usually cook one batch of rice in the morning and it will last until dinner but sometimes we have plenty left over that spoil easily. I learned that during summer time it is not advisable to cook rice for 2 meals because the summer heat causes the cook rice to spoil easily than other cold season. So if ever you cook big batch of rice on summer time, add couple teaspoon of white vinegar to prevent it from spoiling easily.

Lamb Chops

I never ate Lamb and maybe the husband too, but he eats goat meat which I find it funky because the meat has smell that I don't really like though I ate a little goat. I though lamb taste like goat but I really wanted to give it a try.
Earlier when I stop by the grocery store, I saw lamb chops and bought some. I cooked it with balsamic reduction. It's good though it has a little funky smell when you eat it, but we love it.
