"Black Pearl" in HAWAII

Finally I got a shot of her while they are shooting. They always shoot during weekdays and work hours. It's my off today and when I'm on my way to do some errands I spotted her out the ocean, I change route right away and head to the nearest location. These is the closest I can get but I'm happy for now looking at the "Black Pearl."

Past out BABY!

Poor baby! It's our little munchkins sleeping on his stomach. A classic move to put a bottle of beer beside him and make him look like he passed out. He was still so little on this photo, he was always sleeping. Unlike now that he is growing and thinks he's a big boy, he does not want to take a nap anymore. He always wanted our attention and talk to him or he will get bored.

Blue Hawaii

Hawaii is one of the expensive state to live and if you complain people will tell you "Paradise comes with a price tag." The cost of living is high, food and housing is expensive. But if the price tag comes with sun, sand, surf, green mountains and much more, well that's worth the price we pay for living here.
Those people who have not been here before might say, even how beautiful Hawaii is it's not enough to convince them to live here. But then, we seen so many mainland people settling here because when you come once you never wanted to leave.

Twin Tower

What on Earth! yeah looks like I have nothing to in town and just capturing images here and there of buildings. This twin tower is one of the famous landmark in town and if your from this island you will surely identify and know which side and which street I am located while taking this one.

Chocolate chip cookies

Blondie's? Yikes what happen to my chocolate chip cookies looks like Blondie's. I was scared to burnt it a little more but this is so so good ones. But it's really good if you burnt it a little more that will make it crunchy goodness. I might post the recipe next time but this one is really simple and egg less.

Portuguese Tart

My twin shared her recipe of Portuguese Tart to me. It's so easy to make and so good. We like it this way, a little burnt on the sides. The condensed milk give it the yummy flavor.

Recipe:
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 can 14oz condensed milk
2 cups milk

Instructions

Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
Basically, you just mix all the ingredients together. This is such a simple recipe. If the mixture is lumpy, strain it to get a smooth batter. ( i strained mine )
Ladle the mixture into greased muffin tins. This recipe yields 18 tarts.
Bake in a 400F preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 325F and bake for another 20 minutes.

Buildings

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather that makes my subject outstanding. Every time I saw nice thing to capture, I don't hesitate to full out my camera and snap. My favorite subject to capture are nature, sky, buildings and mostly views. They are easy to capture and fun to watch.

Getting There

Influence by "Elgin Park". So here is my old beetle stuck in the wilderness in the middle of nowhere. Now I'm digging for cars and stuff to make my own little town. Yes, I don't have much time but I will make one little town and I will name it... Yeah I can't think of a name yet.

Nice Day

One of my boredom moments while waiting for the husband. It was a windy but sunny morning, the weather is perfect for a walk but the wind is gusting once in a while. I was waiting for the wind to die down so I can take a nice picture of the palm tree but every time I tried the wind blow my subject.

FB Games

I am playing FB games as my pass time. I have a few favorite and hates most of it because it doesn't make sense to me.Few of my favorites are from ZYNGA games, they are pretty awesome and know what the players wants, though most of the time they don't listen about the feedback. Some copycat are so lame because they tried to copy games but they are not successful.

Need Rest!

I've been working for 5 to 6 days a week and I'm missing most of my favorite show and movie time. I love working as well as day-off, but day-off is not really a day-off because it's the time where I catch up on my household chores and errands. I am not complaining of my set up this, I am enjoying it, I'm just missing my days at home enjoying my real rest day pampered. *sigh

I am not sure what causes dark eye circle, if it's making up or simply lack of sleep. Most of the woman who has this problem relies on temporary relief which is canceller. Snap snap

What to do when you're bored? Snap, snap, snap.
When I'm killing my time or waiting for the husband or something, I always grab my phone camera and snap anything that capture my eyes. I admit that I am a prostrated photographer, I love photography so much. I am happy that the pictures I taking these days are getting better and better. Maybe I know how to get the best angle now lols.

Training Program Scam

In this tough economy, many of us thinks that going back to school is the best thing to do to get a higher pay and job security. I have thought of the same thing until I read one article recently about the high interest rate that most of the school or training centers put on you. Instead of having a better job with higher pay, you might end up on minimum pay with no security and on a big loan with high interest.
It's still good to have a degree or training but make sure that it's worth it. Check out the loan plan they offer you and make sure everything is fair and square.

Taxes Due Date

Just a reminder to all that TAX due date is on the 15th. Well I guess I have to remind myself too since we're not done with our tax yet and I hate it. Hopefully we can send it out early tomorrow morning.
I hate it a lot when you pay people to do it for you that you lay everything for them and still they don't do it on, where the only thing they have to do is to sign the paper. I wish we could get a better people to do our taxes.
